Office365: Correcting the Time Zone

In Office 365 users can experience problems if the time zone is set for the incorrect location. This is most apparent if the mail and calendar invites you receive are incorrect according to our current time zone. We suggest you verify your settings to ensure correct time stamps are appearing on items using the following steps.

  • Open a web browser and navigate to office.com and sign in with your district credentials If you are not already signed in
  • Once you are logged in you should see your dashboard. In the top right click on your initials or your D11 stock photo. Select "View account"

  • A new tab will open with your account settings. In the left margin about halfway down select "Settings & Privacy". Then in the main window  in the "Region" section, you should see a "Time Zone" option. In that section, it should say "(UTC-07:00) Mountain Time (US & Canada)". If it does not, click the pencil icon. A new window will appear and you will search for "(UTC-07:00) Mountain Time (US & Canada)" and save it as your time zone
