This article will assist new Staff/Teachers in getting started with their D11 issued device and inform them about some typical D11 Procedures.

1)    Log in to your laptop with your email address & password:
[email protected]
First time password = “Password****”. The “****” are the last four digits of your District ID number.
The system will immediately ask you to reset to a new password. D11 passwords must be 8 characters, contain one uppercase, one lowercase, one number or special character, and may not contain any part of the username.

2)    Check your email in Outlook.  Click on the Outlook logo on your desktop.
* Username = D11 email ([email protected])
* Password = network password

3)    Open Chrome and go to the D11.org home page.  Click on the “Employees” tab. You will find many helpful links here, including Schoology, PowerSchool, Peoplesoft, Office 365, etc. There is also a link to the D11 Loop, which your school and the district use to send out important communications.

4)    Click on the silhouette on the top right of the window and log in to Chrome with your D11 email and password. This will let you create and save bookmarks for your most visited sites. Click the star on the right side of the address bar to bookmark a site. If you can’t see your bookmarks, click the 3-dot menu on the top right of the screen>Bookmarks>Show bookmarks bar.

5)    Open d11.schoology.com
Click on Courses (blue ribbon)
Click on My Courses (under your name)
Click on Join a course
Access code: VR6WF-DK538
This course contains a wide range of resources to help with all your technology-based needs.

6)    Open Office.com in Chrome – Either use the D11 link, the bookmark, or type “office.com” into your browser.  Log in with your D11 email & network password. Click on the OneDrive cloud in the bottom, right corner of your desktop and click on “Sync” once it opens. It may take a couple minutes to find & upload your files.  Be sure you’re saving to your “OneDrive Colorado Springs” each time you save within the Microsoft Office suite. You will know that you are syncing with your OneDrive when the cloud in the bottom, right corner of your desktop is blue. OneDrive is set to sync automatically, so if your cloud is already blue, you’re all set!

7)    Telecomm – Please check with your LTE and/or DST regarding the Cisco Phones. You can access a user guide and other helpful Telecomm information through their website. Go to: d11.org > Departments > Telecomm.

8)    Technical issues – Please submit a Happy Fox Ticket (support.d11.org or the fox icon on your desktop) for any technical issues and your LTE, DST, or other district technology support staff will assist you. Happy Fox also contains a Knowledge Base where you can find articles with answers to commonly asked tech support questions.

9)    Printing – Your LTE & DST can also help you connect to the buildings’ printers. Ask them about Printer Logic.
