Some students may require the ability to zoom in/out while using their Chromebook. This can be accomplished with the following keyboard shortcuts.

To Zoom In
Press Ctrl + Alt, then pinch and separate your fingers on the touchpad. You can also go into the settings of the chromebook and search "zoom". Under "Built in Display" you can zoom in on the screen content.

To Zoom Out
Press Ctrl + Alt, then pinch with two fingers down. You can also go into the settings of the chromebook and search "zoom". Under "Built in Display" you can zoom out on the screen content.

To Magnify

Magnify is a separate function when compared to zooming. To magnify on a Chromebook you can use the following keyboard shortcut: Search (magnifying glass on the left of the keyboard)+Ctrl+M. When pressing the keyboard combo you will be asked to confirm if you want the magnifier on. You can also turn this feature on by going to the settings and searching for "magnify". Select "Full-Screen magnifier" to turn on this feature.

LTEs/DSTs can also perform a powerwash of the Chromebook to reverse this feature if necessary.
