Approval, Purchase and Use of Digital Resources
Software, websites, apps, browser extensions, and other digital resources which includes e-Texts may not be used with students unless approved. Please follow the processes below before any products are used.
Step 1: IT Review
Confirm that all digital resources have passed IT Review prior to use. The IT Review process requires in-depth review by various IT groups.
Things that are checked by the IT Review Team include:

• ITLS - Student Data Privacy
* Per the AUA: No personally owned software is allowed on our D11 network or computers. If a staff member wants personally purchased software on their machine, it must be donated to the district and become the property of D11.
Step 2: Instructional Approval
All materials that are used with a captive audience, for example a classroom of students, must be submitted for approval prior to use.

* Devices purchased with PDF funds are considered personal devices. District 11 does not manage personal devices, including the installation of software.
