The desktop version of Classic Outlook contains what is called the AutoComplete Cache (nickname cache) that is generated automatically as you send emails through the program. This list contains SMTP addresses, LegacyExchangeDN entries, and display names for people you have sent mail to. If you would like to clear this stored info complete the following steps through the desktop version of outlook on your device.

  • In the Outlook main window, click "File" in the desktop outlook menu
  • From the "File" menu, click the "Options" button
  •  In the Options, click the "Mail" tab and scroll down to the "Send Messages" section
  •  Click the "Empty Auto-Complete List" button
  • A confirmation box will appear, click "Yes". The Auto-Complete cache will be completely erased
